We always try to find the problems nearby us and become ‘members of parliament’ in discussing and imposing the mistakes on each other. We never look into our own-self to find the status of our nature, feelings, intentions and objective behind problem. We need to focus on the state of our mind, soul, and heart to differentiate between these states. The one of the most difficult task which I feel is to control over the senses. Our mind is the most powerful object, so, to control it. It gets attracted towards the materialistic objects and Maya. Maya here refers to the process of running behind the materialistic objects. If we (the soul or charioteer) fail to control the horses (senses), the chariot will lead towards Maya and we will be lost in the path of darkness which never ends. So, we need to practice to control the horses of this chariot (body). I am trying from years to control but, still not completely successful. Sometimes I did well but, I couldn't continue for long time.
Every one of us has both positive and negative qualities. Sometimes positive qualities overcome negative and vice-versa; we behave on the impact of these qualities and so the destiny is defined. If we are influenced more by the negative qualities, we need to work a lot on our nature; we can go for reading some positive-motivational articles or books to up our positive qualities. But, the ultimate change will come, when we will start analyzing our behavior in the different circumstances. For example, we can check how we behave to a person who is hurting us; if we are also behaving the same way, it means we are not improving and if we start ignoring the comments and behavior of others on us, it means we are in the right track.
So, its nuisance to say that we are so because the world is so, we are so because our inner qualities (spiritual qualities) are weak and we easily get infected by the materialistic things. We are fighting with ourselves (positive vs. negative qualities or Dharma vs. Adharma) and we know that finally Dharma wins.
